Esperando

I sit on my couch right now, Michael on his, both of us contentedly worn from the heatwave in Oakland and a sushi dinner at Koryo. We saw Narnia: Prince Caspian tonight after work and after I finished packing and then went to dinner where we had a pleasant surprise of running into Lara, Alice, and Mitch.

I am feeling sad to be parting from Michael for two weeks early in the morning but am excited for the trip. In 12 hours my dad and I will be sitting pretty (ojala') on Mexicana airlines flight from SFO to Mexico City where we will have a three hour layover before taking a Click by Mexicana flight of less than an hour to Oaxaca city. We get into Oaxaca city a few minutes before 7pm. I hope we have mole for dinner tomorrow!
